How to Love Your Mini Pilea

Heater and air conditioning can cause the air to become drier: buy an indoor humidity monitor or a moisture sensor to manage humidity levels.

I love humidity!

Spray or mist my leaves twice a week

if your home is

on the dry side.

Let my soil dry

out between

each watering, and make sure

the pot has a drainage hole!

Mini Pilea Peperomioides Care Light Requirements

The light of a North or East window will work best. Use sheers or blinds if facing South or West windows.

My leaves grow in the direction of the light and tend to reach for it.

Rotate me a few times a week

if you want that I keep a nice

and symmetrical shape!

Too much sun might burn my leaves. Make sure to leave enough space between me and the light source. You can bring me outside to the patio in the summer but keep me in a shaded area!

Mini Pilea Peperomioides Care Food Temperature Requirements

Use an

all-purpose liquid fertilizer (20-20-20) diluted to half strength.

Don't keep me

below 55F (13 °C)

or over 100F

(35 °C).

Avoid large fluctuations.
